Well I feel silly! But for anyone else who may have this 'problem', it's not a problem really! The Web GUI was set to 'Basic' (in the top right corner of the page). I changed it to 'Advanced', and voila! I now have the SPAN option!Hope this helps som...

I'd be happy if someone could just send/post firmware for the switch. I think that would take care of the problem.
