Does it have Touch 10 display for this codec? Have you tried running the microphone test using the touch 10 diagnostics to see if the mics picks up any audio using the audio level meter?
You can do console.log like what tomas has provided example. The output will show on your macro editor log window. From there, you'll need to figure out how to extract the number and map it to a new function/variable.
