I am hjaving a problem getting my 3120 switch to ping its onboard administrator, the switch can ping other IPs in the subnet but just not the OA, can anyonr give me some direction on this.Thanks
I have a 6509 router connected to a 3120 switch. The switch is running version 12.2(0.0951)se3 IOS and I was to upgrade to 12.2(55)se IOS. How do I upgrade and set up vlans on the switch.

I tried to tftp a .bin file on the 3120 but got a checksumerror.. The switch is currently running a .bin file.does the switch only accept a .tar file?thanks for your response.
