Hi, take a look at new feature ISDN Preauthentication and Radius. there you will find your solution! don´t know ecactly if feature is suppoertet in IOS for AS5200, but shure for AS5300.kind regards Michael Friedl (Datakom Austria)

Hello Hans, you need to configure the access-lists in the router and work with user profiles.configure the user as PPP-user in your ACS and tell there the access-list to apply for this user.hope this helps,regards Mikemichael.friedl@datakom.at
Hello Sotiris,its in depence what the ISP is using for Authentication. but normally they use Radius(AAA) and there you can catch the username.regards Mike
