I'm implementing TLS Syslog for a MobilityExpress WLC (AIR-AP1815I-E-K9/18.104.22.168). There is amazingly few documentation on this subject. I did setup a debian rsyslog service on Debian 10, with a self-signed PKI. I did setup the WLC with these commands: config logging syslog host syslog_server_ip config logging syslog tls enable The WLC is Indeed sending encrypted logs, over TCP 6514. I found no additional setup on the WLC side (like TCP port, or PKI), but maybe there is a PKI support in the WLC? By default, the Syslog server credentials are not verified by the WLC, and I found no way to enforce this scheck. Any input/info is welcomed (like PKI settings on the WLC, or Syslog TLS options) !

I'm trying to figure out how the DCA cost metric is calculated. After some debugging experiments and excel experiments, I landed with this: CM=Noise+interference+CleanAir-128 The test conditions were: Transmit = 18 dBm, Noise =49.1, Interf.= 57.4, CleanAIR= 46.9. These values where taken from the 'debug airewave-director channel enable' output. Does this formula seem true/familiar to anybody? Where does the 128 value come from? How are Noise and Interfer. expressed in the debug formula (49.1 and 57.4 do not look like dBm)? Why is CleanAIR listed/used ? The CM is only supposed to used signal level, noise, interference and AP load... Thanks for any idea/input !
