Just arrived on site - new project - has anyone had any performance problems with the SFM module. If you have an SFM card in slot 5, 2 16 port GBIC x-bar enabled cards, and 1 48 port 10/100 TX.Would the switch:A.) Run at 32Gbps on the 48 port 10/100...

It just sounds like hardware failure. I like Cisco, but sometimes you have to swap equippment.

If you enable EAP, and a software client to hardware based VPN - you are almost hack proof. Well at least reasonably. Nothing is impossible.

The cards do not control security. The access-points do. You can send the device into Cisco $300 USD for an "upgrade"

W2K as far as i know is the only EAP enabled server out there. I would suggest an incremental approach. Can you get on the network with no autherntication? You should be able to. I have a client running without eap who is able to authenticate to ...
