Everytime I try to access an internal HTTPS site after logging into my WebVPN, I get a message that states:
"Unable to connect to server <servername>. Reason: bad handshake type."
I can't seem to find any documentation or references to this error message on the internet or within the forums here.
I should note that I can use application access and standard HTTP sites through the WebVPN, just not HTTPS sites.

I think badhandshake type looks like an SSL failure - confirm that both ends are running the same version and encryption protocols for SSL. Also verify that it's not certificate related - the server is looking for a certain CA cert or something. Logs and a trace would be the best first steps.

Hi,
Did you get this working? I have the same problem - but only for some https sites (unfortunately the critcal site for my users ...)
Any insight / help appreciated.
Thank you
Cathy
