I have a user who connects to our network using anyconnect then RDP's to his machine to carry out out of hours tasks. Usually this works fine but for the last couple of days he has reported that he can connect using the VPN but then when he attempts to access either internal web pages such as a wiki or if he tries to RDP to his machine, it fails saying it can't find the reosurce.
He will reboot and sometimes this fixes the issue, sometimes it doesn't. For example last night he logged in at 1:15 am and was unable to RDP to his machine, a reboot didn't fix the issue. He then turned his machine off for 15 mins, tried again and it worked fine.
I suspect it's something around sessions being persistent but when i last checked the active sessions on the firewall, i couldn't see a session for him.
What really puzzles me is that the reboot of his machine doesn't seem to fix the issue. I've also had the user confirm that he goes through a process of disconecting the VPN session from the client before shutting down.
