The Anyconnect client for Linux is available on the Cisco download page here:

The chart given on the following link will give you the Supported operating systems with the latest Anyconnect 4.4. Looks like RH 6 and 7 are supported:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/vpn_client/anyconnect/anyconnect44/release/notes/b_Release_Notes_AnyConnect_4_4.html#reference_DABA1C4FF5CB45F4904B538BAB32749E

Instructions on installing Anyconnect modules on Linux is given below under the "Predeploying to Linux" section :

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/vpn_client/anyconnect/anyconnect44/administration/guide/b_AnyConnect_Administrator_Guide_4-4/deploy-anyconnect.html

Hope this helps.

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for the quick reply! However, can you also please provide the installation and configuration via command line? since we would want to test it via RHEL server w/o GUI.

The steps include unzipping the linux pre-deploy tar.gz file and running the vpn_install script. I was not able to find Cisco documentation on this, but the closest I could find on running a search on Google is this guide here:

https://answers.uillinois.edu/illinois/page.php?id=47640

Hope this helps.

Thanks Rahul!

We'll check the link provided.

Hi Rahul,

Would you know where to get anyconnect installer for RHEL Server?

Hi Rahul,

Thanks a lot for your assistance!

I'll share this in our team and we'll let you know for any concern.

This is noted. Thanks Rahul!

Hi Rahul,

Please disregard previous message I posted.

I think the issue is with the compatibility since our RHEL server is 32bit and anyconnect is 64bit.

Would you know if there is 32bit installer of anyconnect?

Thanks!

I don't think a 32 bit installer is available for Anyconnect 4.x. Only 64 bit versions of Linux are supported these days.

Hi Rahul,

Reviving this discussion.

It seems that vpnui is not available under  /opt/cisco/vpn/bin/

Can you confirm that anyconnect will work on Linux 2.6.32-642.el6.x86_64 without GUI.

Thanks in advance!

Also having error while running under #./opt/cisco/anyconnect/bin/vpnui

attached is the error.

Hi Rahul,

Would like to have an update on this please.

Thank you.
