Hello,
I am using VPN client 4.0.5 to connect to our Citrix ICA server at work.
A couple of days ago, I turned off my computer without first terminating the VPN client - and now there is no way I can connect to internet. I have tried repairing IE to no avail, and I have tried finding a topic that would match my problem in online forums......
Needless to say - my PC has been booted several times in the effort to reconnect.
I can still connect via VPN any time.
Usually, I use WLAN, but I have tried wired as well with the same result.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
Regards
Jens

Do an ipconfig /all - what are you using for DNS servers? Can you ping them?

ipconfig /all shows 192.168.1.1 for DNS - which is the WAP and I can ping it

Turn of events...
My neighbour, who is using my WAP, just notified me that she was not able to connect any more. I started looking into things, but found no evident problems. So I reset the WAP to factory defaults and then applied mac filtering as before. Now all of a sudden, I can connect, but my neighbour still can't - she is using a Mac and so the settings are unfamiliar to me, but they haven't changed from before this situation occurred. Anyway, using mac filtering and no additional security makes for pretty straightforward wireless settings.
Regards
Jens
