Dear All,

i have configured site to site IPsec vpn between cisco router ISR4331  and cisco ASA 5505, tunnel is up and working fine, but my router is unable to resolve dns.

if i try with IP address its working fine but if i try with name its not. dns server in remote is 192.168.2.10 and dns in local is from ISP end. but my router is trying to resolve with public IP of remote end.

do i need to configure dns forwarder or anything else like that, if so kindly help me out. attached output

Regards,

Harsha

There is not enough information here for us to be sure how to know the problem. Is it the case that your router has configured a single dns server which is from the ISP? That would explain the behavior that you describe. And the solution for that would be to configure the router to use the dns server at 192.168.2.10.
