Process of AnyConnect 4.0 Apex Licensing

The original AnyConnect Premium was based on concurrent users. I'm told AnyConnect Apex licening is based on individual users. Does this mean we have to explicity license individual users? Does anyone have any experience with this and is it done on the ASA? I've been scouring the web for information on the process of applying the licenses and am having trouble finding it.

The original licensing was based on concurrent connections.  The new license is based on concurrent user.  Previously, if a user were to connect on his laptop and his smartphone and some other device, it would consume three licenses.  In today's model, it would consume only a single license.  The new licensing model also allows you to share the licenses across all firewalls in your organization rather than being bound to a single serial number.  As far as I know there is no explicit mapping needed.

Hope this helps.
