A few weeks ago I pressed 'disconnect' on my vpnclient and went into sleepmode. I disconnected it from cable and when i got to my friends house it automatically assigned to his wireless network or i might have switched to the wifi network myself. Then after a while i noticed that the vpnclient was still on "disconnecting" but unresponsive. I also noticed a dns suffix in ipconfig. Does this mean i was still on the vpn connection ? Because i visited some websites that i wouldnt like my boss to know that night ! Hehe. Some clarification ? The Release Notes say:
"Vista: User is not prompted to reconnect or cancel after sleep or hibernation while the client is connected. Instead, the client is left hanging trying to disconnect.
Workaround
Close the client interface and reopen it to make connections again."
I dont think it still worked after switching networks multiple times and a sleepmode. But was still wondering.
