VPN Client access denied

I have a client that is receiving an error when trying to establish a second connection to my Cisco 3005 Concentrator.

Error message is:

Error 789: The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer.

The Concentrators log file:

5115 11/07/2001 12:14:16.170 SEV=4 PPTP/33 RPT=84 (ipAddress)

PPTP tunnel for peer (ipAddress) denied - already established.

I am not sure if its a concentrator issue or a client router issue..

If someone could help me here, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just a stab in the dark here but does the client PC have a desktop level firewall? If so, remove it if possible and try to connect. Ran into a similar problem months ago but not sure if it was exaclty the same message. Just trying to help if I can.

Thanks for the reply FYI,

I did find out what was the cause. It was on the client side using NAT with a single external address. Each remote host will need its own IP address because the concentrator can only establish one tunnel per IP address.
