For some strange reason, I'm unable to connect to my vpnclient on my machine. I'm able to connect from someone else's machine using my user ID
I'm getting an error " Secure VPN Connection terminated locally by the Client. Reason 413: User authentication failed.". This usually comes up after the 3rd attempt
My vpn connection worked fine few days ago, this problem started yesterday. I even tried restoring my system to an earlier date to see if it would help
I've gone through quite a few threads regarding the same issue, but none has helped me resolved my issue
I'm using Windows 8.1 - 64bit
I've uninstalled 5.0.07.0290 and re-installed vpnclient 5.0.07.0440 x64. I went through some threads and even installed the Deterministic Network Enhancer hoping it would help. Disabled firewall as well, but to no avail
My current VPN client settings are:
Authentication - Uses Group Authentication ( Username and password)
Transport - Transparent Tunneling Enabled and IPsec over UDP (NAT/PAT) enabled
Log Settings - All Low(1)
Please advise on how I can resolve this issue?
