Cisco AnyConnect (umbrella)

Hello Guys,

 

We recently rolled out cisco Umbrella, and some users are having issues with Cisco Anyconnect. The message just keeps on popping as disconnected and reconnected. All the clients are on wifi. They can connect with their credentials. But cannot access corp data. They have to reboot the computer, and then they are fine. Laptops are new. The annoying part is reconnecting every few minutes. Any help/Suggestion will be appreciated.

What version of Anyconnect are you running? And on what OS?

Anyconnect Version is 4.10.0.1075 and OS is Windows 10.

We recently had an issue with the GPO preferences reevaluating and dropping the connection. Or it may have been an SCCM config baseline?  Anyway, something was pushing a wireless network config, and even if it didn't change, the WLAN Autoconfig would bounce the wireless card.

 

Enable the wireless network logging in eventvwr and see if you can track it down:

 

  1. Open event viewer, and navigate to: Applications and Service Logs->Microsoft->Windows->Wlan-Autoconfig
  2. Highlight the Wlan-Autoconfig folder item and right click
  3. Select View->Show Analytic and Debug logs
  4. The diagnostic log will appear under the Autoconfig folder
  5. Highlight the diagnostic log and right click
  6. Choose to enable the log

Thanks ken . Good points . We looked in to GPO side . I found an article dated back 2011 and found it interesting. We have same MTU size on out virtual Cisco NIC. We will try to lower MTU size on client machine . Will keep you posted.  Thank you for your help.
