Computrace Proxy Problems?

Does anyone know of any issues that would prevent a laptop using Computrace to talk with its mothership, which I believe is absolute.com? We have proven it is related to the proxy. The only way I can get it to work is to exclude the internal source address. Not an option for mobile laptops. Proxy, L4 exclusions and no auth required groupings have no effect. s360's with 7.1.1 and WCCP. Just checking before I go with a support request. Thanks jc

Hi John,

What does the access logs say when the application tries to go out through the proxy? Is it going over HTTPS and are you decrypting that traffic? If you are, then you may want to just PASSTHROUGH this traffic and see what happens?

Turns out to be a URL that needs a bypass. (search.namequery.com) This is my main beef with my s360. High maintenance of the proxy. My exception lists are getting huge and nearly unreadable. No area for comments aside from commit field. They seem to assume their own order. Oh well, someone has a case of the Mondays.
