Proxy Block Page Settings

Good Day!

I have IronPort WSA S670 version 7.1.4-053 deployed in the netwrok. This is operating in explicit proxy mode.

Now, web traffic for internal and external network are directed throuhg the proxy. We have configured inernal sites to be resolved with internal DNS and external sites to be configured with Internet's DNS servers.

Now, the question very basic. When we try to access a site, and if the site is not available, the Proxy gives an acknowledgement page. I would like to know how long does it wait to give an acknowledgement page. Also, if this time is configurable.

Hi Faiz,

I do not have the specific amount of time it waits to serve an Acknowledgement page. I believe it would be based on the amount of time it takes for the WSA to recieve the request from the PC. The time is not configurable.
