Hi,
In the user guide, and in many discussions, I am being pointed to different URL in the site https://securityhub.cisco.com/ (i.e.: https://securityhub.cisco.com/web/submited_urls). However, every time I want to enter any page of this website, I get a "None" and nothing else.
Was this site turned off, and I should be checking for URL categories in some other place? Where can I check the content of the URL categories? Is it also possible to check the web usage controls cache of my device?
Regards,
Javier

Hello,
I have something to add to this as well. I use the link: https://securityhub.cisco.com/web/submit_urls to check the category listed for URLs that show up as NC (not categorized) by our users.
Here is the strange part. Got a request for this URL today by a user:
www.statsmadeeasy.net which shows as (Not in our list) on the cisco site.

But,
The WSA says it is
I usually just resubmit it when this happens but just thought it strange and wonder is anyone else has seen similar...
Thanks
KJ

Hi KJ,
Can you explain me how you use that website to check the URL? I am new to Ironport, and pointing to https://securityhub.cisco.com/web/submit_urls in my browser I get to an empty page that only says "None" on top.
What browser do you use? Do I have to pass the URL as GET parameter or something? I do not get the "check" text box that you pasted before.

Javier

Hi Javier,
The link I posted does require a cisco login account to access the page. I just made a bookmark favorite on the toolbar to it as it has changed a few times and I just got tired of always looking for it etc...
Browser is just IE 8 atm. Firefox works as well.
You should be able to go to this link normally before a cisco login is required:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10164/tsd_products_support_series_home.html
Under 'Related Tools' you will see the link that says. "Cisco IronPort Web Usage Controls Category Submission and Lookup Tool" which is:
https://securityhub.cisco.com/web/submited_urls but requires a login.
Once you get logged in its fairly self explanatory. It has two tabs, one for 'Status on Submitted Urls', and one for 'Lookup or Submit URLs'.
If you can't login or access the link, then my guess is your access tied to your account/support contract needs and adjustment.
Hope that helps,
KJ
