Our family-owned company has had recent email rejections by large companies due to "Sender Domain Reputation"
We are in a very niche field in the oil & gas industry and use Constant Contact for Newsletters or Technical Topics as a Marketing Approach. We have 9-10k customer/associates in our Constant Contact Data Base.
Recently while working with Duke Energy (#186 Fortune 500 Ranking) their IT Department suggested we open a Ticket for Review with Cisco regarding our (Sender Domain Reputation).
Hence my post today, below is what I received from Duke Energy's IT Department.
"However, I do see a number from matthoward@stiweb.com. These messages are being quarantined by our Cisco mail software based on “Sender Domain Reputation”. I checked with Duke Cyber security and they advise they can’t do a release of these quarantined messages as the filtering is occurring due to Cisco’s own domain reputation scoring. It’s possible that the score can change once a period of time passes so it may be worth requesting that they send the message again to see if it’s getting through now. The other option is to advise the external contact to submit a ticket to have Cisco review the Sender Domain Reputation (link below). Sorry I can’t assist further on this but for the security restrictions we are limited in options for resolution. Let me know if you have questions and I’ll be glad to get in touch. Thanks

No not yet, I came to the community to learn exactly what was going on and it has been helpful into understanding what exactly was going on. I will open a ticket with Talos. Is this something as a company we need to be aware of and update such as SEO or is this something that is fixed and not necessarily an issue that needs constant attention? Any feedback or suggestions would be more than welcomed as this is our 1st time in dealing with such occurrence. We are a growing company so I would like to know if I need to subject this into anyone's job duties.?
Much Appreciated Ken,
