Screen sharing and viewing not working on Webex Teams for Mac M1

Hello.

I am using Macbook Pro 13 2020 M1 with Webex for Mac M1 42.2.0.21338

For some reason sharing my screen & viewing screen of shared by others does not work in the app.

It does work with Chrome link, though!

What I see when I share:

what-i-see-when-i-share2.pngwhat-i-see-when-i-share1.png

I set the permissions correctly and I do not get any extra notifications from the app. You can see that in screen #2.

What they see:

what-others-see-when-i-share.png

Its all blank for others.

What I see when others share:

So the other way round it also does not work - I can't see other's screen when they share.

I have also tried Intel's version but with the same results.

Thanks!

Is there any other way to raise this bug other than this forums? @RedNectar

Try Preferences > Meetings > General > Edit my personal room on the Webex site (takes you to a web page)

From here there is a Support link https://help.webex.com/contact

When you click this you have to SIGN IN AGAIN (Phew. They don't make it easy)

FINALLY (Scroll down)

Yes.

I have restructured my question so its more clear which screenshot is what.

So it does not work both ways for me, nor sharing nor viewing when others share.

Hi @atais ,

So sorry I've possibly led you down a path I can't help with any more. Hopefully someone more knowledgable than me can help.

Hi @atais ,

Have you checked that Webex is allowed to record the screen?
