Join Events with Web App

Hello all,

setting up events for external participants who do not have any rights to install or execute because of policy settings, have a hard time to join only with a browser.

My findings:

Joining via Web App for Events is shown on the event detail page but as soon as I click to join via Web App I get only a blank screen presented.

Question: Is it me having problem? If not, then why is the button being shown? Meetings are not problem via Web App and do work.

Any help or pointeris is kindly appreciated.

Hi @george_n ,

For me the "Join by browser" with Webex Events is working fine.

Can you confirm that you are using a supported OS & browser?

You are right.

I test now again with Firefox 80.0.1 and up to date Chrome. I succeeded. For Chrome it worked if I disabled the Webex extension somehow.

However I could not join with my business PC running FIrefox 78.1.0 ESR. I know ESR is not supported but I think our IT has crippled the browser via policies as joining meetings with video does not work as well.

Anyway. It works if there arent policies set which harm the entry,
