Hello

Does anyone knows if the Cisco Aironets APs can act as SSH client ???. I need to access a SW  through ssh and do not have any terminal, but I have an AP managed.

is that possible ??

thanks

If you type "ssh" on the CLI and it refuses, this means it does not support.

For any Cisco device I know when it supports SSH client you just need to type ssh, for example

ssh -l <user> <target ip addess>

Hi

If this AP run  in autonomous mode, yes but as capwap AP joined in a WLC , no.

Is the one that is working as controller.
Can it work in this case ?

Thanks for answer

What I can say it that from a WLC running IOS-XE (9800) it does work, just tested. But, I dont have an AP running  WLC here to test. I believe it should but I am not sure.

Do you have access? If you run ssh command, what do you get ?

I just can't find the option to do it, that's why I am asking, the AP is an Aironet in controller mode and I need to use it as ssh client to connect a SW

If you type "ssh" on the CLI and it refuses, this means it does not support.

For any Cisco device I know when it supports SSH client you just need to type ssh, for example

ssh -l <user> <target ip addess>

Then isn't supported
Thanks anyway for the time

Check this' it support.

Since you can access  viq cli then check ssh.

I get an error when type ssh and the ip address , I need to do ssh from the AP to a SW

Do

Ssh ?

Do you see any option ?
