初めまして。

フォトロンの谷と申します。

現在ある企業様で新旧のSW間を接続する設定作業を行っております。

それぞれのスイッチに設定をし

新旧のSW間をLANケーブルで接続したところ、

大量のMacアドレス移動？登録？が発生して、

ネットワーク遅延などが発生し、機器が瞬断や疎通出来ない障害がケーブルを接続している間発生いたしました。

なにかこれを発生させない方法や、緩やかにする方法など御座いませんでしょうか。。。

基本的は接続方法は以下の通りで接続しておりまして、

テストでは図の赤い線1本を接続して試して障害が発生いたしました。

結線後、上記出力が頻発している様子がうかがえますが、
上記メッセージは、mac-moves/flaps/loopsが多すぎる場合、
または新しいmacが特定のしきい値を学習/移動した場合に発生する可能性があります。

mac-moveが頻繁に発生した場合、Nexusは自身のコントロールプレーンを保護するために、
ダイナミックMACラーニングが無効となりますので、
その結果として瞬断や通信断が発生していると推測されます。

そのため、Nexus側の問題というよりは、環境の問題である可能性が高い事象となりますので、
解決するためにはmac-moveの原因を特定する必要があるかと存じます。

まずは切り分けとして、以下をご検討ください。

■実際にmac-moveが発生しているかどうかの確認
事象発生の際に以下のコマンドでご確認頂けます。
#show mac address-table notification mac-move

■この問題を引き起こしているMACアドレス、VLAN、およびこれが発生しているインターフェイス情報の確認
ご利用されているNexus9000シリーズの場合、L2FMのログレベルをデフォルト値の2から5に上げることで、
事象発生時にログが出力されるようになります。

以下、実行例となります。

L2FMのログレベルにつきまして２から５へ変更致しましたので、

明朝再接続を行いまして確認致します。

また、原因となるMACアドレス、VLAN、およびこれが発生しているインターフェイス情報が見つかった場合、

どういった対処が考えらえれますでしょうか。

事前にダウンリンクポートに対して、spannig-tree port type edge等を入れることは有効でしょうか。

原因となるMACアドレス、VLAN、インターフェース情報が見つかった場合ですが、
設定変更による対処というよりは、まずは構成上の問題点を
段階を踏んで調査して頂く必要があるかと存じます。

例としては下記の様な方法かと存じます。
・該当MACアドレスの対象機器を特定
・対象の通信経路でループが発生するような構成になっていないか
・対象のインターフェースをshutdownさせた場合に事象が解消するか

ログを収集したところ以下の様にPo10 to xxx となっているログが多いのですが、

Po10が起因となって問題が発生しているという事でしょうか。

Po10は下位L2スイッチ接続用で使用しております。

ご認識の通り、Po10でvlan10を利用した通信にてmac-moveが頻発しているようですので、
まずは該当する通信経路で、ループなどが発生していないか、
および構成に問題が無いかをご確認頂くのがよろしいかと存じます。

また、出力されているMacアドレスの機器を特定いただき、
それがPo10と他のポートで学習されるような接続構成になっているのか、
というのも確認観点のひとつかと存じます。

取り急ぎ、mac-moveが抑止されるかどうかの切り分けの一つとしては、
Po10をdownさせた場合に出力が抑止されるかどうかご確認頂くことも有効かと存じます。
