Cisco Room Kit plus - mic's wont unmute

Good day,

Working with a Room kit Plus, with existing client supplied microphones, The issue we are running into is:

When using Cisco Touch 10 - touchpanel when mic mute/un mute is pressed, the touchpanel microphone halo follows the correct state of green - un mute red - mute,  once we press the mic halo on the microphone we are only able to mute - red state, and have no control of un mute at microphone.

Mute/unmute isn't a standardised function across manufacturers - if/how the issue can be resolved will largely depend on which microphones being used, and how you are integrating them with the codec.  If there is any 3rd party DSP involved, then you may need to alter your wiring to get proper Mute Synchronization (see VTC with Cisco TelePresence Codecs - Biamp Cornerstone as an example, where a 400 ohm resistor is required).
Also note: if the microphones are the older style Cisco ones, then they are also different electronically from the newer mics, or even other models of Cisco mic (ie, the Table Mic 20 and Table Mic 60 are quite different).
