I have an ACI pod which connected to my old network. Most of endpoints are VMs in ESX hosts and ESX hosts connected to the old network. I want to migrate gateways from the old network to ACI and gradually connect ESX hosts to ACI as VMM domain. I want to create EPGs with static port configuration on the link connected to the old network ( Physical domain) and also static port-group in VMM domain for ESX hosts connected to ACI ( same EPG, same vlan encapsulation on different domains). I tested this scenario; connectivity and endpoint learning are OK but I am getting encap-already-in-use F0467 faults on the EPG. I use different VLAN Pool and AAEP objects on each domain and tested both global and local VLAN scope with no difference (EPG VLAN validation is not enabled). Is this behavior expected ?
