Hello,

I am going to be adding new leaf switches to a fabric, at this time they can only connect to one spine and devices connected to these new leaf switches are not production workloads.

I am assuming I will get some warnings about not having a connection from the leafs to the other spine. 

is there anything else that could happen on the fabric by making these new connections? Again, this is only going to be for sometime until I can connect these new leafs to the other spine. I just need them up now so I can do some prep work

Hi @mannycho ,

it is not mandatory to connect a leaf switch to multiple spines (we do have a similar setup in a lab setup).

adding new connections shouldn´t impact production (aci uses ecmp in the background)
