I have a question about the impact of using ACI stretch fabric to build two active-active data centers.
I know the fact that in ACI stretch fabric, both data centers will share the same control domain since in ACI stretch fabric, one control domain manage both data centers. Single IS-IS process , single COOP process and single MP-BGP process running in both DC's.
I need to know the impact for this design. Is there a really impact for the ACI stretch fabric? Are there any known incidence for failure on the control domain cause a complete failure on both data centers? Any known software defect may causing complete failure on one or more of the control processes (IS-IS, COOP, MP-BGP)?
If I have a stable implementation for ACI stretch fabric between two active-active data centers, should I move to multi-pod or its ok to keep running stretch fabric with no high impact?
