Adding Second APIC

Hello,

I have one APIC controller with 1 spine and 2 leafs with cluster size is 3.

Whenever I try adding a second APIC, I get to the point where the new APIC status is: "Data Layer Partially Diverged".

Note that the second APIC has a different management IP but in the same range as the first, the second APIC has a different software version running

Then I would highly recommend bringing both APICs to the same version!

Probably the easiest - note I didn't say fast or convenient - way to do that is setting up a "new" fabric with the second controller, upgrade using the gui, reset the configuration and then attach the second APIC to the original fabric.

Hi,

As Nik Noltenius mentioned - you need the same software version on the controllers. 

It's also possible to map .iso Image over CIMC KVM and boot controller with this image.
