Hello, community!
Our network team plan to making the update of the ACI infrastructure. Currently, deployed firmware ver. of ACI is 2.2(1o) and have to be updated to 2.3(1f). The CIMC ver. of APIC controllers (ucs c220m4 servers) is 2.0(3i) however, for release of APIC 2.3, the 2.0(9c) is needed, as recommended by Cisco. Before upgrading all fabric (apics, leaves/spines swithches) we are going to update hardware components of APICs, firstly such as CIMC/BIOS/LOM/VIC/etc. We are going to use HUU utility for these purposes. It is worth noting, however, that the upgrade guides are written for UCS-C standalone servers not for the servers in a cluster mode. Could we use the same instruction for upgarding or smth is different?

Thank you for reference link. Could we still use CIMC 2.0(3i) for ACI 2.3(1f) or upgrade to recommended 2.0(9c) as in the documenation is mentioned?

Nicolas,
I have notieced that in the following documents the info about CIMC ver. is differ:
Here the recomended ver of CIMC is 2.0(13i)
There the recomended ver of CIMC is 2.0(9c)
Would you recommend to us to stay the current ver 2.0(3i) without upgrading and proceed with APIC and Fabric swithes?
Thank you.
Regards,
Alex
