Can we add VM APICs to existing HW APIC bundle?

Hello Community,

can we add VM APICs (active or standby) to existing HW APIC bundle APIC-CLUSTER-M3 (with 3x HW servers) for higher redundancy?

Based on my $search_engine-fu, I presume this is not possible, but checking to be sure.

Mixing controller form factors (Physical & Virtual) is not currently supported (Outside of 'ACI Mini" which is a very restrictive deployment model).  We do have this support roadmapped for a future release however.  It's still being assessed so I'm not able to provide any timelines at this point, but its a high priority request.
