Cisco ACI Border Leaf L3OUT interface type question

Daniel Blanco

Good Afternoon,

I have a doubt about if is recommended mix interface type (SVI, subinterface) for L3OUT in the same node (obviously in different L3OUT´s)? I think it could be a misbehavior but I'm not sure.

Does somebody help me?

Many Thanks!!

Hello there @Daniel Blanco,

You wont be able to select different interface types for the same L3Out. And for each L3out you are free to select any kind of interface you prefer, meaning you can have on the same leaf node multiple l3outs each one using a different interface.

the only thing to have in consideration are the scalability limits for each version of ACI. Bellow you can find he link for the version 5.2
