Dear ACI Expert,
We have encountered an issue with SPT over our ACI fabric.
Initially, we believed that MCP was enabled throughout the fabric, but upon investigation, we discovered that it was only enabled on certain interfaces and disabled globally.
We would like to enable MCP globally now, but we are concerned about any potential impact or risk to the traffic passing through the fabric. Could you please advise us on this matter?
I assume there won't be a problem, but I'm not entirely sure. Can you provide some advice?
I am aware that we still have a limitation as per the Cisco Scalability guide. Upon checking our fabric, I found that we have only two pairs of leaves with more than 1500 VLANs per switch. Although this is still below the maximum limit of 2000, I would appreciate any advice on this matter.
Mis-Cabling Protocol (MCP) | 256 VLANs per interface 2,000 logical ports (port x VLAN) per leaf |
