We're coming to the end of a migration from traditional switching to ACI and we currently have SVIs in legacy via L2OUT and endpoints physically in ACI. I am planning the migration of the SVIs into ACI but want to know whether enabling L2 unknown unicast to hardware proxy is impactive to dot1q links carrying the BD that I am reconfiguring.
I know at this point the L2OUT is redundant for this BD, but it's not redundant for other BDs. Similarly, if we've configured the networking for dozens of hypervisors to enable them all to host a guest in that particular BD, do they all see their switchports blip?
