Endpoint using same ip adress a the bridgedomain gateway address

Hi all,

i am wondering what will happen when a endpoint attached to aci is using the same IP address as the gateway address in the bridgedomain it belongs to.

- will other endpoints in the same bd suffer from this when there are 2 places with the same IP address?

- will only the endpoint using the same IP suffer from this and become unreachable?

- what type of faults or events will be sent out with syslog to act on this with creating incidents for these sort of things and alert the endpoint owner they should change their IP?

In normal nxos there are logs when an endpoint is using the same IP as the vlan-interface ( gateway )

%ARP-2-DUP_SRC_IP source address of packet received from xxxx.yyyy.zzz on vlan100 is duplicate of local 10.1.1.1

%ARP-3-DUP_VADDR_SRC_IP source address of packet received from xxxx.yyyy.zzz on vlan100 is duplicate of local virtual ip 10.1.1.1
