Hi there,
i already used the CLI to set the description of a physical interface, but it seams to create one of those __ui Objects.
Is there a smart way to set the interface description using a REST Call (via MO in the phy-interface tree?)?
We need this feature due to integration of a third party NetworkManagement which uses legacy snmp-query.
Thanks a lot,
Michael

Hi Michael
The best way is to use the interface description in the port block (MO: infraPortBlk) of your access port selector (interface profiles). See the attachment.

Hi Marcel,
thanks a lot!
We were using FEX-wide access port selector since fabric setup, so we missed this particular description field.
Regards
Michael
