I was reading here about L2 interface policies and I came away with perhaps an incorrect conclusion, please correct me:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/aci/apic/sw/1-x/Operating_ACI/guide/b_Cisco_Operating_ACI/b_Cisco_Operating_ACI_chapter_0110.html
Local scope: I can use same vlan in different EPGs on same leaf, provided they are on different ports
Global scope: I can use same vlan in different EPGs on different leaves, not same leaf
Is this correct? I have created an interface policy group with an L2 interface policy set to local. I applied this to an interface profile for ports 1/1 and 1/2. I then applied this profile to a switch profile for leaf-101. I created an epg "test1" on 1/1 with vlan 2000 and an epg "test2" on 1/2 with vlan 2000 and it causes a Fault.
Should the local scope policy allow this?
Thanks,
Bryan
