Hi
Within a VMWare VMM Domain it is possible to assign a static VLAN. Within Microsoft VMM Domain i do not see this option. Is it not supported?
Everything is similarly configured - VLAN Pools with static blocks, etc.
In VMWare:

Hi Pat,
What version of code is your ACI running?
Did you confirm that there are no faults under SCVMM domain?
Do you have any blocks of static IPs under your vlan pool?
I tested this on 3.1 code and I do get the option to assign a vlan for a scvmm domain

Hi Manuel
There are not faults under the SCVMM and i do have a static block in the VLAN Pool. We are running with release 2.3.
Might be a release issue -> will check on the release notes.
Thanks.

Hi Manuel
Thanks - because i spotted for the same function in microsoft vmm as in the vmware vmm with the static vlan i missed this opportunity. That might work as well.
So no upgrade needed for the moment.
Thanks

I tested on some 2.2 (3) version in my lab and I got the same results as you did. I also found that you should be able to add a static vlan after you add the domain by double clicking under the "port Encap..." column of the scvmm domain. (see screenshot below). I looks to be some gui issue that got fix on later releases.
