Hi all,
With micro-segmentation using Cisco AVS, you can segment VM into attribute-based EPG. So once a VM's attribute matches and it's placed into the attributed-based EPG, does that mean whatever contract applied to the based EPG no longer applied to the VM? Or the contract is still applied but only after the contract of the new attribute-based EPG is processed?

Correct. When a uSeg attribute (Network or VM) type are matched, contracts assigned to the uSeg EPG will not apply to the VM, and no longer contracts from the base EPG. uSeg does NOT nest EPG/Contract policies.
