I'd like to query information about the SFPs connected to a specific leaf node via Rest API (using Python).
I know I can get the information for all leafs by a sinple query for the class, "/api/class/ethpmFcot.json", but that is not very efficient for a big fabric with a lot of leafs.
On the other hand I can get the information for a specific interface with
"/api/node/mo/topology/pod-1/node-1101/sys/phys-[eth1/22]/phys.json?query-target=children&target-subtree-class=ethpmFcot".
However I don't want to iterate through multiple calls to the Rest API (I know, I'm picky...).
I thought I can use a wildcard filter and look for a specific leaf node using something like "/api/class/ethpmFcot.json?query-target-filter=and(wcard(ethpmFcot.dn,"node-1101"))" but that is not working. Does anybody know why is this not working or has another idea?
