Dear All,
when we replace any ACI switch we removed the switch from controller and as soon as we do this L3 traffic start offloading and become zero on BL and after that we replace the switch.
in Few TAC case we received the recommendation to reload the switch due to bug.
in order to reload the switch we have to offload traffic manually from that switch.
Do we have any option that traffic offload first and then switch reload.
Also observed that once switch become online after reload, we received traffic from other device but we do not start advertise our prefixes to fabric.
after replacing the faulty switch with new switch we again add the switch in API.

Take a look into GIR (Graceful Insertion & Removal) mode (aka maintenance mode). This will take the switch out of the forwarding path and allow you to do maintenance/reboot etc. Once you're ready to resume operations, you disable GIR and traffic will begin to re-hash back via the switch.
