Showing endpoint table on spine

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working with cisco aci 2.2 with openstack integration (by opflex agent).

We have 10 hypervisors connected on our 4 leafs in vpc mode.

We have severeal virtual machines on each hypervisor, but when we're trying to show endpoint on spine, the table is empty ( as well as the mac address table and so on )

My question is : Is it normal that my table staying empty even if I'm booting new endpoint on my hypervisor (could be explained by the vmm domain) ?

Thanks in advance,

Yoann

Hello,

show endpoint ip <EP ip address> will only work on the leaf switches. If you want to check EP info on a spine use the following command:

show coop internal info ip-db | grep <EP ip address>

We use COOP so we can communicate the mapping information to the spine proxy. COOP runs on the spines to make sure all the spines always have a copy of the EP information (their identity and location).

Let me know if this clears things up.

Thanks,

Michael G.
