Syslog Destination Group - what is Local File and Console Destinations

Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to configure syslog and have a question on Syslog Monitoring Destination Group. It has options to enable/disable Local File Destination and Console Destination. Please see the screenshot below. It seems they are same as logging buffer and logging console in IOS/NX-OS. Can someone please describe their purpose and what is their recommended setting?
And what is the default setting if I don't create Syslog Monitoring Destination Group?
Thanks in advance.

I'm still trying to dig up confirmation on this, but my guess is that this is to duplicate Syslog messages for the Destination Group to the console as well as the local log file.  These are enabled by default, but when you attempt to create a remote Syslog destination, you have the option of only sending those syslog messages to the remote destination, or allowing them to be seen in the console and local logs as well (default).

Thank you, Robert.

If they are enable by default, how can I see logs on leafs and spines? It seems 'show logging' command is not available on ACI switches (unlike IOS or NXOS based switch)?
