Upgrade AVS and SCVMM agent on ACI upgraded plan

Hello Support forums,

May i know if we upgrade the ACI environment from 1.2.1(k) to 2.3.1(i) is it necessary to upgrade the AVS and SCVMM agent on hypervisor environment. As the below link , https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/solutions/collateral/data-center-virtualization/application-centric-infrastructure/solution-overview-c22-734588.html that indicate the AVS and SCVMM still compatible if we upgrade to 2.3.1(i) is it correct?

the existing version are :

AVS version : 5.2(1)SV3(1.10a)

SCVMM :SCVMMM Windows 2012 R2 with rollup 13 (used agent aci-msft-pkg-1.2.1k)

maybe i get feedback from your experience regarding upgrade ACI environment with AVS and SCVMM

I think you better refer to the ACI version 2.3(1x) release notes https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/aci/apic/sw/1-x/release/notes/apic_rn_231.html 

It shows supported AVS version with SCVMM.
