ACE Load-Balancing

I have an ACE load-balancer for 3 web servers. One server had  issues and internal users kept getting to the webpage fine, while an external customer who connects through the firewall using a natted IP could not get to the webpage. I have 'cookie insert browser-expire'. Anybody had any idea why the customer was not load-balanced the 2 servers that were up?

Without a sniffer trace it's difficult to know what happened.

We will definitely not use a server that is down.

However, when a server is down, we do not delete or remap active connections.

You may want to configure 'failaction purge' inside the serverfarm.
