ACE Module in Direct return setup and servers in two different Vlans

Hi:

I akm using  direct server return setup .
The ACE and the servers are placed in the same VLAN and IP subnet. An interface on
that VLAN is defined on the MSFC and is the default gateway for the ACE and the
servers. NAT is turned off for the server destination address. Return traffic does not
flow through the ACE but returns directly to the client. All works well.

However now i need to add  a new server farm in a different Vlan form the previous servers.

I need this separation because thes new servers mulicast  and don't want this traffic in the

other servers.

Is there is a way to do this ?

thanks for the help

Mickey

Mickey, you just do it the same way you did for the first servers.

You create a new vlan, attach new servers, ace and msfc to that vlan.

You then simply add the new servers into your current serverfarm.

ACE does not require the servers to be part of the same vlan.

Gilles.
