ACE module SIP header modification

All,

We'll set up the ace for SIP and I need to modify the SIP header.

There is VIA field included IP address of nodes in SIP header. But actually we don't need this information (except to end source IP address).

That's why we want to delelete the VIA field of such nodes.

And additionally i have one more question. Is it possible for ACE module to load balance based on SIP Call ID ?

Hello Sungmin,

Header insert, rewrite, and delete only applies to HTTP headers.  You can load balance SIP based on SIP Call-ID.  A full explanation of SIP load balancing on the ACE, along with an example, is included in the chapter called Configuring SIP Load Balancing.  You can also find more information on load balancing based on SIP headers in the section Defining a Header for SIP Load Balancing.
