While troublesehooting an issue yesterday I noticed that the MAC address of the VIP I was tracing happened to
be flush throughout the data center. Turns out that the VIP on this loadbalancer has the same MAC as the VIPs on all of the other load balancers in the DC. They happened to be on different subnets so there were no conflicts. My question is, what happens if I have two loadbalancers on the same subnet with VIPs? Will there be a MAC conflict? Appreciate any response.

Yes.
Tha mac address for a VIP is derived from the number of the ft group for each context.
