First let me outline what it is I'm having an issue with, next I'll explain what equipment I'm implementing\have available:

1> We have the need to do an active-active LB config using a single VIP for multiple Oracle App servers hanging off of two different CSS11501. The two CSSs are at the same physical location, only separate server rooms.

2>The equipment that I’m using for the project; two CAT4503's (redundant L2 cores, one acting as the DG for all VLANs), two CSS11501, and two 3750's. Currently our network is split into 8 seperate VLANs, expl: USER, ORACLE, PRINTER, SERVERFARM, TESTBED, etc. Each of the 11501's are conected via e9 to a 4503, each 4503 has two gig trunks to each other, and every access layer closet in the network has redundant trunks to each of the 4503s.

I've read several doc's explaining how to configure an active-active config using redundant VIPs or redundant interfaces utilizing an ECMP router, however the L1-3 setup differs from the equipment that I have available. Is there anyway that you all know of to implement this config using the HW that I currently have?

Thank you in advance for your replies.
