Hi all. I hope my question is not too simplistic.
I am a rather newbie to the concept of Content Delivery products and services. My company, in the past, has used BGP to ensure that our traffic fails over to our DRP facility in the even of a disaster. Well, BGP is not making the grade in that I now have multiple, small subnets on which I have applications which need coverage by our disaster recovery site. I have investigate, to some degree, products such as 3DNS etc. but am hoping for a 'silver bullet' to cure this headache. My needs are very simple. A device which can direct traffic destined for A.B.C.D automatically to W.X.Y.Z when A.B.C.D is not available to the internet. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

The most basic design utilizes a single DD, but you could add a second for redundancy and run HSRP between them. HSRP mainly used for failover connection for internet.
